The prestigious Class Bar Awards has unveiled its full lineup of finalists ahead of the 2024 ceremony, with Manchester well-represented across several categories.

Sterling’s Paola Mariotti is up for Front of House Star of the Year, while Reah Owen from Project Halcyon Distillery and Yadney Fernandes, also from Sterling, are both nominated in the Emerging Bartender of the Year shortlist.

Schofield’s, as is so often the case these days, is up for another accolade, with Joe and Dan Schofield appearing in the Bar Innovator of the Year category. Last year saw the team scoop the big one, winning the coveted Bar of the Year title.

The Best Bar in the North nominations are particularly noteworthy, with all four finalists hailing from Manchester. Blinker, Project Halcyon, Speak in Code and last year’s winners in this category, Schofield’s, are all up for the award, with the city now guaranteed at least one winner on the big night.

Winners will be announced at a glitzy ceremony at the Battersea Arts Centre in London on Tue 16 Apr. You can check out the full list of finalists here.
