The Bridgewater Hall will be transformed into a world of musical masterpieces this July as the Hallé presents its final Manchester show of the summer, Choral Classics.

Led by esteemed Choral Director, Matthew Hamilton, the Hallé orchestra and award-winning Choir will unite for an evening filled with breathtaking harmonies, electrifying orchestration and a rich blend of musical favourites.

Audiences can expect to hear a diverse range of famous arrangements, including Handel’s powerful Zadok the Priest, the soaring melodies of Parry’s I Was Glad, the drama of Mozart’s Magic Flute Overture and the sweeping intensity of Verdi’s Force of Destiny Overture.

Matthew’s supreme talent has seen his services in incredibly high demand, preparing choirs for a long list of leading conductors including Gustavo Dudamel, Sir Mark Elder, Edward Gardner, Valery Gergiev, Daniel Harding, Fabio Luisi, Michael Tilson Thomas, Andris Nelsons and Gianandrea Noseda, and for festivals including the Edinburgh International Festival, Manchester International Festival, Brighton Festival, Spitalfields Festival and BBC Proms, where he has worked on music from Birtwistle to the Pet Shop Boys.

The Hallé’s Summer Concert: Choral Classics comes to The Bridgewater Hall on Sat 26 Jul. Tickets are on sale now, book yours using the button below.
