Relaunching earlier this month, The Hive in Stretford had only opened for two days back in March before it had to close its doors for public lockdown. Luckily with planning and consultation they are now ready to re-open The Hive, a key part of the area’s huge regeneration plans. Located inside Stretford Mall, long-time business partners Chris Herbert and Jamie Hoare worked with local Gorse Hill Pub owner Andy Seale to bring this neighbourhood restaurant to fruition. Sid Talha, a Parisian chef with over 25 years’ experience under his belt – nine of those working under Michelin maestro Raymond Blanc as well as at Le Manoir in Oxford and Le Petit Blanc in Manchester – will be returning to the kitchen. Following its re-launch on Saturday 4 July, initial opening times will be Wednesday – Sunday, 12pm – 11pm, with food served until 9pm. Social distancing measures will be in place and The Hive also offers an upstairs Mezzanine available for private hire including birthdays, work meetings, functions and sporting event. Bookings of up to 6 people can be made through Open Table by following the link below.
