Featuring seventeen renowned singers in a powerful, viscerally profound exploration of cardinal vice, Kantos Choir performs CONFESSION OF THE SINNERS, a poetry-infused programme curated to evoke the seven deadly sins at Salford’s spiritual home of original transgression, The White Hotel, on Sun 8 Oct.

Beginning at 7pm, the show marries solemn, sacramental choral arrangements from Ravel, Debussy, Stravinsky, Poulenc, Messaien and more – as well as two newly commissioned pieces from RNCM Composition students Sophie Nolan and Alex Watson – with another special commission from The White Hotel’s poet-in-residence, Christ Bryan, who has crafted a one-off collection of penance poetry drawn from confessions of pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony and sloth as recounted by the variety of sinners in The White Hotel’s creative orbit.

Tickets are available on a Pay What You Can Basis – book yours here.
