Marking their long-awaited return to Manchester with another enchanting two-piano programme, the world-renowned Labèque sisters take to The Bridgewater Hall stage for an evening of musical delight featuring a Philip Glass masterpiece alongside Ravel and Debussy on Tue 8 Apr.

Having ‘transformed the piano duo’ (New York Times) across a fifty-year career, the sisters continue to innovate the form with wildly creative programming and signature flair.

Promising a night of soaring sound and show-stopping style, the pair transport audiences across a vivid, sweeping landscape with Philip Glass’s divine yet tempestuous dance chamber opera Les Enfants Terrible, crafted by Glass’s long-time collaborator Michael Reisman.

Beforehand, the concert opens in Belle Époque Paris, with Debussy’s rarely played set of six sublime miniatures, alongside Ravel’s Mother Goose, played in the composer’s original piano duet arrangement.

Book tickets below for an unmissable night of live performance in Manchester’s foremost classical music venue.
