The worst thing about living in Manchester? All the damn Vampires. That’ll certainly be the case in October, as Bowlers Exhibition Centre plays host to a huge celebration of 1987 classic The Lost Boys, featuring guest appearances from stars Kiefer Sutherland (David), Alex Winter (Vampire Marko) and Jamison Newlander (Alan Frog). The trio will be joined by fellow Lost Boy Jason Patric (Michael) and a host of other stars from a selection of much-loved horror movies as For The Love of Horror festival gets underway in late October. Celebrating its second year, this part-convention-part-horror-experience promises to be a meeting ground for like-minded genre fans and will boast scare attractions, props and exhibitions, photo opportunities, Q&A sessions and more. Other confirmed guests include Candyman himself Tony Todd, Saw stars Tobin Bell and Shawnee Smith and The Devil’s Rejects actor Sig Haig. Oh, and the sax man from The Lost Boys will be making an appearance too.
