The Lowry Hotel’s RE:TREAT is hosting a free ‘Shave-athon’ in support of Movember

In support of Movember, The Lowry Hotel’s renowned luxury spa and wellness centre RE:TREAT is hosting Manchester’s first-ever Shave-athon.

The event, which will be taking place on Thu 30 Nov between 3pm – 6.30pm, aims to shine a spotlight on men’s health while raising funds for the global Movember Foundation — an organisation dedicated to both support and awareness of men’s physical and mental wellbeing.

Guys are invited to RE:TREAT to visit the spa’s in-house hairdresser for the ultimate ‘Shave-athon’, where they can get their Movember moustaches trimmed by an expert, with all funds raised being donated to the Movember Foundation.

In partnership with health and wellbeing clinic, AssureHealth, RE:TREAT will also be hosting a ‘Ball-athon’, offering free testicular scans to anyone who has concerns about any lumps, bumps, pain or heaviness – or even if they simply want a check-up.

All scans are confidential, non-invasive, and are carried out by a registered healthcare professional, all within the privacy of the RE:TREAT treatment rooms, with a medical report given to each client to pass onto a GP following the scan if required.
