The finalists for this year’s Class Bar Awards have been revealed and a number of Manchester spots have been recognised in the prestigious accolades.
The Best Bar in the North category is dominated by Mancunian favourites, with Schofield’s, Speak in Code and Blinker making up three of the top four, with Leeds’ Tabula Rasa completing the shortlist.
It’s a strong showing for Schofield’s in terms of the individual awards too, with Joe and Daniel Schofield nominated in the Bar Innovator of the Year category, and Rachel Orange for the Bartender of the Year.
Schofield’s sister bar, Sterling, also makes the New Bar of the Year list, alongside Blinker, while Sterling features in the Bar Food Menu of the Year.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony hosted at the Battersea Arts Centre on Tue 23 Mar.
