The Northern Quarter’s new Bench Self Made Gallery is hosting a series of FREE mid-week lunchtime gigs featuring Manchester’s musical talent performing semi-acoustic sets. Following magical sets by Jessie Rose and Frazer King, this is your chance to catch The Naughtys, Stretford’s finest ska punks taking an interlude from their ongoing national tour. Head downstairs in Bench HQ for lunch with a difference. The Self Made Gallery has just opened with the remit of hosting of events, exhibitions and workshops in collaboration with local talent of all persuasions. Reflecting the Manchester fashion brand’s philosophy, the space is open to musicians, creatives, artists and DJs to use it as a platform. Saturday afternoons, for example, see a series of interactive workshops offering the chance to learn new skills, consult experts and hang out with like-minded dudes. Check out the website for how to get involved.
