Manchester School of Art will invite the public for an early glimpse at the city’s next generation of incredible creative talent through a string of four special exhibitions.

The Quartet series will take over the school’s Holden Gallery over the coming months, with each edition dedicated to a different creative discipline.

Kicking things and recently drawing to a close was Art, a stellar showcase of work from the Department of Art and Performance graduates that spanned topics such as Art History and Curating, Fine Art and Interactive Arts.

Next up is Media, which runs between Thu 3 Mar – Wed 16 Mar and features Animation, Filmmaking and Photography. Architecture follows, showing various aspects of building and landscape design from Mon 28 Mar – Sun 10 Apr.

Completing the Quartet is Design, taking place Mon 25 Apr – Sun 8 May, with work that covers Graphic Design, Illustration and Animation, Interior Design, Textiles and Three Dimensional Design.

All graduates from 2020 and 2021 have been invited to take part, with around 250 alumni set to show their work throughout the four exhibitions. After the pandemic meant Manchester School of Art’s ever-popular annual degree shows were unable to go ahead as normal, this is the ideal opportunity for anyone who was disappointed to have missed out.

Visit the school’s website for more information on what to expect from each show.
