The Padel Club has unveiled plans for its latest venue, bringing high-quality padel facilities, a clubhouse and coworking spaces to Brooke Park in Handforth Dean.

The new site will include five indoor padel courts with a 10+ metre roof, two outdoor canopy courts with premium patio areas, surrounded by changing rooms, a clubhouse and highly spacious social areas.

Handforth Dean builds on the success of the original Padel Club site in Wilmslow, which helped launch the brand in 2022, and TraffordCity, which is now the biggest club in the North West. The team also operates sites in Gloucester Quays and Cheltenham.

Kris Ball, Founder & CEO of The Padel Club, said of the new venue: “We think about where we establish our courts very carefully and Handforth Dean meets all of our detailed criteria. We have been working hard for a long time to enhance our facilities at Wilmslow, so being able to expand into Handforth Dean with an indoor facility is the ideal progression, we are beyond excited to announce our new location.

“This new venue will be more than a padel club – it’s a destination that blends all of our learnings from multiple venues, with indoor courts all to competition standards, outdoor canopy courts, incredible social facilities and our signature service levels, it allows us to engage with the padel community in a way we haven’t seen before in the UK. We are combining our years of experience into one incredible new venue, in the perfect location.

“After introducing our new club in early 2026, we will of course continue to trade from our original 4 court Wilmslow venue. Having even more courts in the immediate area means we can extend our program throughout the seasons, with indoor, covered and outdoor courts. We will retain the character at Wilmslow that everyone has loved so much, extending our reach into the community, whilst adding a new state of the art club nearby at Handforth Dean.”

A spokesperson close to the project added: “With padel indoors and outside, co-working and premium facilities, this new site will appeal to everyone – from dedicated players to people discovering the sport for the first time. It’s about creating a space where activity and community come together.”
