The Pharcyde play Bizarre Ride II at NQ Live

When the Pharcyde’s Manchester show was announced back in February tickets sold out in just over a week, and many were were left with their hip hop heads hanging low. Luckily for them, More Bounce are bringing the crew back – this time to NQ Live. The Pharcyde encapsulated all that was good about the mid-90s golden age of the genre, soul-infused stories for the masses from South Central Los Angeles. At their peek they were doing the rounds touring with A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul, but eventually self-destructed. For those in the know, there are two modern incarnations of the Pharcyde – this one consists of founding members Fat Lip and Slimkid 3, along with producer/rapper J-Sw!ft, L.A. Jay and K. Natural. This tour sees the crew performing the full album Bizzare Ride II The Pharcyde (it’s the one with Ya Mama, Oh Shit and Passing Me By) in celebration of its 20th anniversary. DJ support comes from More Bounce aka Didjit and Lee Majors.
