While traditionally synonymous with late-night raves and a home for some of the UK’s best DJs, The White Hotel will also add live theatre to its bustling calendar for the first time next month.

The unique venue, set on the outskirts of Salford in a disused garage, will house the one-act play, Art of Crime/Crime of Art: The Podcast Wars on Thu 16 Feb.

Described as a ‘claustrophobic two-hander set in a world of illusion’, the performance features Hamish Rush playing two men filled with messy emotions, a distressed pair unknowing of what they are capable of.

Written and directed by Austin Collings, the story blurs the lines of sinister and laughably warped, the character’s internal battle is ultimately about whose perception of reality will prevail, and how people can interpret differing versions of the same thing.

The performance runs from 7pm until late, and tickets are just a fiver. Grab yours using the button below.
