Project Halcyon Distillery, which doubles up as a hidden speak-easy cocktail bar, is relaunching later this month at Department Bonded Warehouse.

Local spirits brand, Zymurgorium, are behind the venue which will return with a series of music, arts and comedy nights after closing during the pandemic.

Situated in the unique setting of the 1800s red brick warehouse on the Old Granada Studios site, the space makes use of the original features with exposed brick clashing with industrial accents throughout.

A seasonal cocktail list will be joined by a range of beers, wines and soft drinks.

Aaron Darke, owner of Zymurgorium and Project Halcyon said: “This bar and space is a gift to Manchester from us, so after a challenging two years for everyone we were eager to open the doors once again. We are proud to be relaunching this exquisite space which we believe is now better than ever with a series of exclusive events that will establish it as a must-visit for anyone in Manchester.

“Our company motto is ‘make every moment epic’ and Project Halcyon truly does this. The walls of Department Bonded Warehouse are permeated with memories of the incredible TV broadcasted from the site and we wanted to celebrate this and provide a space where new memories and experiences can be made.”
