The Stock Exchange and Hallé Orchestra team up for a magical Afternoon Tea

The Stock Exchange and world-famous Hallé Orchestra have joined forces for a very special festive afternoon tea this December.

Taking place in the hotel’s tender restaurant on Thu 11 Dec, guests can enjoy the full afternoon tea menu, crafted by Michelin-starred Niall Keating, alongside a magical Christmas performance by the Hallé Orchestra musicians.

On the menu will be a selection of artisan sandwiches, savoury bites including turkey and chestnut sausage rolls and a broccoli and cropwell bishop stilton tart. Sweet treats include mince pies with tipsy cherry trifle, clementine and white chocolate mousse, and fresh scones served with strawberry jam and clotted Cornish cream.

It’s all served alongside fine-crafted teas from PMD, including the specially crafted Stock Exchange blend “1906”, and, of course, the option for bubbles. Guests can also enjoy the hotel’s festive afternoon tea throughout the Christmas period, with the menu running from Thu 20 Nov – Sun 21 Dec.
