Manchester’s Arndale food market has recently welcomed Just Nata, a new yummy food pop-up set to fulfil any sweet craving with their pasteis de nata or Portuguese custard tarts. These crispy treats are filled with a rich egg custard and dusted off with cinnamon – featuring all the makings of the perfect custard tart, with a little extra Portuguese flair. The stall is set up by Federal Café Bar, already well known in Manchester for their brunch foods and coffees. Pasteis de nata have already seen success on the Federal Café menu and are now taking centre stage at their new market stall, with the vendor selling out of these tasty treats most days. Just Natas is open from 10am-5pm but often closes early due to heightened demand – so make sure to get down early and experience the tastes and flavours of Portugal with these delicious delicacies.
