Fresh from its celebrated London run, THE TIME MACHINE offers an unlikely hilarious spin on HG Wells’ iconic novella at The Lowry.

A play within a play, join George, Amy and Michael as the trio prepare to premiere their own far less serious adaptation of the sci-fi masterpiece.

Will George persuade the others to stick to the script he’s worked so hard on? Will Michael be able to explain time travel without the help of excessive props? Will Amy get to sing her Cher tribute?

Starring Michael Dylan (Wilf), George Kemp (Jack Absolute Flies Again) and Amy Revelle (Offside), the production comes from the incredible team behind the smash hit comedy The Hound of the Baskervilles, and the award-winning Original Theatre, responsible for a host of hugely acclaimed shows including Murder in the DarkThe Mirror Crack’d, Caroline’s Kitchen, Invincible and The Habit of Art.

Described as “Breathtaking… gloriously silly, unrestrained fun” by The Stage and “Exquisitely entertaining… thoroughly, ridiculously amusing” by The Indiependent, audiences are in for a treat when the production arrives on the Salford stage.
