Performing as part of Waterside Arts’ REFRACT:24 Festival, Sale’s summer showcase of music, dance and experimental creative arts, the Untold Orchestra present a one-off concert featuring a collection of timeless soul classics alongside guest vocalists Nicole Battick, Dija Bhlue and DJ Levi Love.
Taking over Waterside Arts for one night only on Thu 25 Jul, the Untold Orchestra deliver a spellbinding set of masterworks by totemic soul artists including Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations and more.
The Untold Orchestra have earned a global reputation for their mesmerising versatility and all-embracing, wildly entertaining concerts which celebrate musical figures from the last hundred years, bringing ensemble performance into the 21st century while partnering with emerging international artists and participating in community projects around Greater Manchester.
Artistic director Sam Davies said, ‘We’re thrilled to be working with Waterside Arts Centre on Refract Festival. It’s a beautiful venue, in a great place and we can’t wait to dance the night away celebrating some amazing soul music.’
