From mid-November, the old London Road Fire Station in Piccadilly is to host The Winter Gathering – a festive indoor markets including street food, music and an ice rink. The building and courtyard will be filled with food vendors curated by the British Street Food Awards. Confirmed stalls include local favourites So Salad Crew, Steel Smokin and Wing It alongside lashings of mulled wine, craft beer and cocktails. Try not to get too tipsy though, as you might want to have a go on one of the main attractions: a genuine ice rink. The Winter Gathering also features a pop-up art space with limited edition prints from contemporary galleries alongside artisan and boutique goods from local makers.
