On Tue 12 and Wed 13 Mar, Brazil’s highest-regarded dance company makes its long-awaited UK debut with an enchanting, innovative fusion of classical ballet and sensuous Latin American forms at The Lowry.

Hailed as ‘sleek, sexy and highly technical’ by The New Yorker, the programme features a selection of sparkling routines from three choreographers, each representing their own field of Spanish or Latin American dance.

Goyo Montero takes to The Lowry stage with Anthem, a captivating and profound exploration of collective identity starring fourteen talented dancers, while Nacho Duato’s Gnawa evokes the vivid colours and effervescent spirit of Valencia, imbued with the pendulous, ritualistic rhythms of North Africa. Brazilian choreographer Cassi Abranches rounds off the evening with Agora, a vibrant and flirtatious study of time and rhythm which sculpts the dancers’ bodies with the viscerally percussive bass of Afro-Brazilian fusion.

You can grab your tickets for just £17.50 (up to 4 tickets) here.
