After bringing Puffball and The Barometer of My Heart to the stage, Mark Storor is once again launching an exciting and unique theatrical piece. Occupying the dynamic intersection between art and live theatre, Storor has worked throughout his career with marginalised and vulnerable groups to produce uplifting theatrical experiences. Following conversations and creative workshops, Little Sister is collaborative and democratic effort between Storor and community artists from the Tameside Women and their Families Centre, the City of Sanctuary Conversation Club and The Royal Exchanges Progression Group. Little Sister is loosely based on the Brothers Grimm fairytale The Twelve Swans, and will feature community performers alongside professionals, which alongside Storor include a clown, aerialist and a classic cellist who will be playing a saw. A rare live performance, Little Sister is set to be a beautiful example of the creativity that arises from authentic and diverse partnerships.
