Theatre of Dreams immerses audiences in a gripping world of fantasy at Lowry

The acclaimed Hofesh Shechter Company brings its brand-new, otherworldly Theatre of Dreams show to Lowry this October.

A thrilling new piece of work, the production delves deep into the mind, into a sprawling world of fantasy and the subconscious, revealing fears, hopes, desires and a myriad of emotions, ones which ‘penetrate not only our dreams, but also our waking thoughts’.

Accompanied by live musicians and Shechter’s signature cinematic composition, the company’s esteemed dancers bring to life interplay between poetry, dream and reality through mesmerising movement.

Theatre of Dreams also sees Shechter reignite previous successful creative collaborations from previous productions: Tom Visser for lighting design (Grand Finale, The Fix, Contemporary Dance 2:0, Wild Poetry and From England with Love) and Osnat Kelner for costumes (Contemporary Dance 2:0 and Wild Poetry).
