Performing for just two days across Tue 8 and Wed 9 Oct, world-renowned visual theatre company Theatre Re bring their stirring, restlessly inventive new production Moments to The Lowry as part of an in-demand international tour schedule.

Billed as part TED Talk, part theatrical performance, Moments showcases Theatre Re’s profoundly innovative trademark mixture of original live music, spellbinding imagery and raw, intimate physicality.

Devised in response to their thirteen-plus years of groundbreaking collaboration spanning six shows, seventeen countries and three continents – including sold-out runs at the Hong Kong Arts Festival, the Cervantino Festival (Mexico), and London International Mime Festival – their latest show weaves an absorbing tapestry from the performers’ personal stories to offer a profoundly insightful reflection on parenthood, grief, the nature of success, sustaining theatrical imagination in mid-life and the driving force behind their creative bond.

Known worldwide as one of the UK’s leading visual theatre companies with a stellar record of ‘transforming small, intimate stories into whirling, viscerally physical extravagance’ (What’s On Stage), Theatre Re bring their latest exploration of shared humanity to The Lowry fresh from critically acclaimed shows in Beijing and Gothenburg.
