Hip-hop and RnB are on the cards this Friday night at Odd Bar. The Northern Quarter landmark, which recently celebrated 10 years of popularity, will welcome Lee Majors and Dijit from the Manchester-based More Bounce collective to set the musical scene across two floors. There’s no doubt about the quality of their record collections, having previously booked Manchester shows for acts including The Pharcyde, Lord Finesse, Dead Prez and Slum Village. From head-nodders to floor-fillers, they’ll cater for all shades of the genres – while you sup on beers (from £2.90 a pint) or wine (£9 for a carafe), and quaff cocktails (from £5) courtesy of the Clocking Out Club happy hour from 5pm until 9pm – which is available on Thursdays as well as Fridays.

Odd Bar, 30-32 Thomas Street, M4 1ER. Tel: 0161 833 0070, 5pm – late, FREE entry, www.oddbar.co.uk
