Following its successful launch last October, Strict Desire returns for the first time in 2016 on Friday. Billed by its promoters Trash-O-Rama and Night Fantasy as an evening of ‘sleazy late night musical perversions’, expect to hear leftfield weirdo disco, synth sleaze, chuggy dubbed out slo-mo techno and mutant new wave punk funk. Strict Desire has moved from its original home of Whiskey Jar to Aatma – formerly the Northern Quarter’s finest backstreet club venue, Kraak.
