We all face sorrow at some time or another, and a new project invites people to think, talk, and learn about the topic. This Grief Thing is a pop-up which is coming to The Whitworth very soon. You’ll find it at the Gallery’s shop for 10 days, starting next Friday. It’s organised by performance artists Fevered Sleep, who will host group conversations about grief. It’s a subject which often goes untalked about, but the aim here is to bring it into the open. Conversations will last approximately an hour and a half and are open to everyone, even those who haven’t experienced any personal loss. To take part in a conversation, please call the phone number below. The pop-up is itself a shop, with a collection of clothes, badges, bags, and condolence cards. Everything is priced on a pay-what-you-want basis.
