The Makers Market springs up in the Northern Quarter again this Sunday bringing a wealth of street eats, vintage wares, gifts and blooms to Stevenson Square. Look out for Wallace and Sons’ Katsu chicken curry, The Ottomen’s Turkish mezze inspired dishes and of course Stuart Thornley and his epic Scotch Egg cake. With Mother’s Day fast approaching (Sun 26 Mar guys!) it’s worth a browse of the various arts and crafts sellers that make the Makers Market so unique. Check out Manchester artists such as photographer Ben Sedman, artworks by The No. 71 Legend Rooms or jewellery by artist Aliyah Hussain, whose an exciting new addition to the Northern Quarter’s monthly scene. Tune into laidback grooves from the record bag of Northern Quarter favourite, DJ Pasta Paul.
