Summer is in full swing and no where is this more in evidence than with the over 90 traders descending upon Stevenson Square in the heart of the Northern Quarter this Sunday for the monthly Makers Market. A perfect way to round out the week there’s shopping for those that want to pick up some artisanal treats, a chance to eat away that hangover with street food traders like the bad boy burgers of What’s Your Beef, the more healthy options of The Ottomen and their delicious Mediterranean mezze or some gourmet scotch eggs from the portmanteau-tastic Gourmegg or if you just want to relax and soak up the sun there’ll be deck chairs and chilled out tunes emanating from the decks of NQ stalwart Pasta Paul. Highlights this month include eye catching famous prints from Baiba Auria, the hottest of hot sauces courtesy of Daddy Cools and handmade unique copper jewellery from Rooks and Roses plus another 80 or so traders offering more eclectic ephemera. Be sure to check out new kids on the block Manchester Still Inc who will be making the purest white rum from scratch if you’re looking to continue the party all day Sunday. Makers Market give you every opportunity.
