Eek out the summer this Sunday with the independent Makers Market in the Northern Quarter’s Stevenson Square. The monthly event showcases the wares of more than 90 traders and caters to all your food, drink, arts, craft and vintage needs, complete with an essential soundtrack spun by NQ mainstay, DJ Tareck. Helping to keep the good times rolling will be the best smoked salmon in the city from MCR Smoke House, cannon ball-sized bhajis from Hezzy, authentic South African treats from Weston Biltong and to really let the sunshine in (whether that big ball of light is present or not) you can top it all off with a delicious ice cream cone from Ginger’s Comfort Emporium. As usual expect a huge range of arts and crafts, including photography, jewellery, posters, re-jigged vintage clothes – and much more.
