Sheffield artist Pete McKee makes a pit stop at Kosmonaut this month, in tow with his Thud, Crackle, Pop touring exhibition that recently launched in London. The acclaimed artist has previously created artwork for the likes of Noel Gallagher, Oasis and Arctic Monkeys, and it is this musical connection that continues with his current exhibition. As one of just three stops on its northern tour, the basement of Kosmonaut will be transformed into a ‘record shop’ with original pieces, LP prints and special one-off editions to sift your way through, much like you would when crate digging for rare records. To celebrate, Kosmonaut are hosting a free launch party on Thursday 13 with special guest DJ Tim Burgess – tickets have now sold out for this, but keep an eye out on their Facebook page where they’ve got a pair still up for grabs.

Fri 14 – Sat 15 Nov (Launch party Thu 13 Nov), Kosmonaut, 10 Tariff Street, Northern Quarter, M1 2FF, 12 – 6pm, FREE, www.kosmonaut.co
