The BBC will be utilising the Whitworth Art Gallery to explore the relationship between painting and performance art. A unique perspective on forms of art which are all too often at opposite ends of the creative Venn diagram. Paint and Performance brings together artist Naomi Kendrick (pictured) and Dan Bridgewood-Hall, a guitarist well known throughout the Manchester area. Dan will let the shackles off and improvise wherever the mood takes him and Naomi is challenged with translating his tunes on to the canvas. If you fancy seeing something different this Thursday then Paint and Performance is your perfect bet. There’s plenty of other elements to enjoy too.
