Manchester Art Gallery’s Thursday Lates series continues this week with a Manchester International Festival special. Inspired by Joan Jonas’ instruction (below) – part of Do It 20 13 – those participating will meet in the gallery’s Atrium, which will be covered with black paper. They’ll then be presented with a piece of chalk each and invited to get on down to the Beat Boutique DJs spinning tunes that will ring out around the building. Do It 20 13 continues throughout MIF, with the exhibition on display until Sunday 22 September.
