The City of Manchester Swim Team (COMAST) take on the world’s best swimmers at the Manchester Aquatics Centre this weekend. This major event will give the local group the opportunity to test their mettle against the elite of the sport, and evaluate their progress in the race to qualify for the Commonwealth Games. Spectators are welcome to go and cheer on COMAST as they face off against several members of the World Championships’ Team GB squad. Star entrants include Siobhan-Marie O’Connor, and world record holder Adam Peaty MBE. The swimmers will be competing for a total prize pot of £10,000. There is a packed schedule of many different races over the two days, building to exciting evening finals. Please see the website below for full details.
