The RNCM has announced it will be joining forces with two iconic figures for a couple of truly unique nights of music.

Tim Burgess, singer-songwriter and frontman of The Charlatans, joins forces with Helen O’Hara of Dexys Midnight Runners and the RNCM Session Orchestra for two special shows.

Throughout the night, the audience can expect a dynamic mix of tracks with a setlist that includes Charlatans’ classics like The Only One I Know and North Country Boy, as well as renditions of Impossible and Try Again Today.

Each piece of music will ‘highlight the synergy between Burgess’s vocals, O’Hara’s violin mastery, and the orchestral arrangements of the RNCM Session Orchestra.’

Discussing the show on Twitter, Tim wrote: “On stage we will have myself, Helen O’Hara and FORTY musicians & singers – and Pete Salisbury will be joining us too. We’ll be playing Charlatans bangers, stuff from my solo albums, a couple of covers and a track I first did with The Chemical Brothers.”

Unsurprisingly, the first date (Sat 1 Mar) sold out in no time. However, due to the overwhelming demand, a second performance has been announced for Fri 28 Feb.

Tickets for the new date will go on sale Thu 9 Jan at 10am, grab yours using the button below.
