Albatross & Arnold’s wine and small plates
Spinningfields’ restaurant Albatross & Arnold opened its doors at the end of 2018 above Manchester’s first urban golf club, The Range. As good as, or better than hitting a hole-in-one is their latest food offer of two small plates and a side from their menu, with a glass of wine for £17. Dishes include Lancashire blue cheese ‘bon bons’ and roasted pigeon breast. Offer runs Monday to Sunday 11am-11pm.

Laundrette’s ‘Cocktail and Carbs’ Tuesday
Chorlton’s laid-back diner launches a cocktails and carbs deal for April. Each Tuesday they have 5 different mac and cheeses on the go. Order a drink from their extensive menu of classic and house cocktails, and settle in for a midweek dinner of comfort food and a fancy tipple.

The Stonemasons Arms steak night
The Stonemasons pub in Timperley reopened following a full refurbishment by the team behind The Dog and Partridge in Didsbury. Book in to see what they’ve done with the place, and try the Wednesday two steaks and a bottle of wine deal for £30 (so £15 per person). Artisan’s Mugshot Monday
Start the week as you mean to go on, with Artisan’s offer of 40% off the food bill on Mondays. Meat and fish are the focus of the menu, with half or whole chicken, steak, pork belly and baked sea bass all featuring.
