Carol Service at Salford Cathedral
Salford Cathedral gets into the festive spirit the traditional way with a carol service hosted by the Ceremonial Mayor of Salford. Featuring members of the BBC Philharmonic, the Greater Manchester Police band and local school children, this is one for all the community, with a selection of seasonal classics everyone can join in with. Entry is free but tickets are required.

Carols by Candlelight at Bridgewater Hall
For this special evening of carols and seasonal favourites, the Bridgewater Hall takes the classic approach to Christmas carolling with performers dressed in 18th Century costume, in a candle-lit setting. Led by Canzonetta Choir and Mozart Festival Orchestra, carols will include Good King Wenceslas, O Come All Ye Faithful, The First Noel and Hark the Herald Angels Sing, alongside classics by Mozart, Bach, Handel and more.

Family Carol Concert at Manchester Cathedral
Escape the busy markets and bring the whole family along for choir renditions of your favourite carols in the breathtaking surroundings of one of the city’s most famous Medieval buildings.
