Experimental hard hitters Stuff are a Belgian five piece who expound cross-genre groove. Recently signed to Gondwana (in the midst of tenth anniversary celebrations), their second album Old Dreams, New Planets saw a reissue on the label in August – listen to Fulina below. Mammal Hands are a trio but have a sound ten times that – a constant cosmic battle between sax, piano and drums which results in some of the most beautiful melodies you’ll hear in modern jazz.
