Whether you are new to yoga or a lifelong fan, new studios are worth checking out. Hot Lotus in Stockport opened in December offering unlimited classes to new members for £20 for 20 days while other new launches include Yogalife Poynton and Foodwell in One New Bailey, just off Deansgate.

Hot Lotus, Stockport – £20 for 20 days new member offer (pictured)
Hot Lotus launched in December 2018 and it’s Stockport’s only dedicated hot yoga and pilates studio. Classes include rocket yoga, family yoga, and a hot series based on the Bikram method incorporating 26 key postures. The studio is located in Pear Mill and has free car parking and a £20 for 20 days new member offer. Hot Lotus is owned by yoga teachers Heidi Sanderson and Hugh Ayerst from Heaton Moor.

Yogalife Poynton – hot yoga for the Cheshire set
This is a third branch of Yogalife Studios – the others being in Wilmslow and Altrincham. Like the other two, the new studio offers both hot and ‘normal’ temperature classes for beginners, seasoned yogis and everything in between.  The only downside of the Yogalife system is that classes are almost always booked up, so if you fancy giving it a whirl, be sure to book in advance. Yogalife Poynton opened on Monday 18 February.
