Contemporary arts centre HOME continues to assert its authority on the Manchester arts scene as it welcomes PUSH festival back for another feast of contemporary cinema, theatre and visual art from the North West’s leading creatives. The festival takes place over 14 days in January 2018: here are our three picks of shows not to miss. See the full programme here: homemcr.org

Performance: Forrest (pictured)
Dealing with addiction, and the related themes of compulsion and guilt, Forrest is a conversational performance from Salford University graduate James Monaghan. As one half of the enigmatic Sheep Knuckle, Monaghan made art out of computers and code with humanity and compassion, and his solo venture Forrest promises to be just as ambitious.
