If you’re looking for inspiration this May, set your gaze on Altrincham Word Fest, a new showcase of talent aimed at encouraging you to pick up a pen and commit your innermost thoughts to paper. From conjuring characters out of nothing to wrapping up a story in 150 words, just bring your imagination – the rest is covered in this two-week celebration of writing. Poetry: open mic night & workshops with Seamus Kelly
Join poet Seamus Kelly for an open mic performance night on Thursday 24 May and at his workshops, The Stories We Could Tell, for young people aged 14 to 18, or The Power Of Poetry, when you’ll writing your own poems.
