Spring is springing, Easter is just around the corner, and it’s time to count those pennies for a Summer holiday. Three course lunch: Taste of Tattu
This deal is going to take a week to become available, but if you’re able to show a bit of patience you’re sure to be rewarded. Spinningfields Asian fusion restaurant is launching a new a la carte menu on April 8th and you can get a bit of it between 12-3pm for £23 for 2 courses or £28 for 3 courses. The chicken curry clay pot seems to be the stand out whichever course you choose.

Bottomless prosecco at The Conservatory Bar
In order to create a bit of confusion, there’s now a Whitworth Locke to go alongside Whitworth Gallery when tourists are using Google Maps. Thankfully, if they are looking for a bit of glass to eat their food near, Whitworth Locke has ensured The Conservatory Bar (pictured) is available. The Princess Street aparthotel and ‘cultural hub’ has also made sure to make an attractive bottomless offer. For £22 you can drink as much prosecco as you would like for two hours from 6-8 on a Thursday and Friday. It’s unlikely you’ll be wanting to see much art after anyway.

Kebab before the booze at Bab
This is a simple one if you like your food offers to alliterate. Beer ‘n’ Bab for £12. The beer is a pint of Amstel or a can of Berliner and the Bab is one of the finest kebabs doing the Northern Quarter rounds at the moment. If you’re more into the general booze idea, then Happy Hour gets you a £3 Berliner, a £10 bottle of house wine, or make it fizzy with a £15 prosecco.

Chocolatey treats at Shoryu Ramen
Shoryu Ramen are getting in on the chocolate loving Easter festivities with their Gudetama set menu offer. Running for three weeks from 1st-21st April, ramen and chocolate lovers can get a three course menu for £24 including a ramen dish, a drink, and a limited edition chocolate bar. If you’re still not sure, students can get their choice of two dishes for £7, and the lunchtime set menu of ramen and a bun is still going strong for £15.

Meat and cheese deals at Wood MCR
First Street’s finest fine dining restaurant has plenty of offers to keep you coming back, though the food probably does that on its own. Tomahawk Tuesday is the time to grab a pal and throw £50 down on tomahawk steak for two alongside two sides. If you’re looking for something a bit less meat heavy, you can grab a cheese board and a bottle of wine for no more than £25 any day of the week.

High five: Get Chucked offering £5 lunches
Urmston’s Get Chucked are pretty adamant on their fives. So high five to you if you want to eat between 12-5pm any day of the working week for just £5 with a choice of five of their options. There’s a range of burgers and some fries. It doesn’t get much simpler than that, really.

New restaurant The Sparrows near Victoria Station
Okay, this one isn’t so much a deal, but if you are looking to try a new cuisine at a steal of a price than The Sparrows might be for you. Opposite from arch buddy Umezushi, The Sparrows offers European comfort food at the sort of prices that will make you choose to remain. £5 for the butter and sage spatzle is a steal in anyone’s eyes. It’s been a bit quiet at Stevenson Square’s sherry and sunshine bar but if ever a place comes into its own as we break out of Summer, then it’s Flok.
