Rainbow Makers at Manchester’s Whitworth art gallery is an interactive installation from Danish artist Tine Bech. This art treasure hunt for grown-ups sees teams of people explore the gallery wearing multi-coloured light vests. The aim is to find seven of the venue’s most iconic art pieces, and doing so generate a giant rainbow projection on the walls. The hunt is a unique way to discover some of the gems in the Whitworth’s collection and no experience, equipment, or expertise is necessary. Advance booking is required to secure one of the 45-minute timeslots. Rainbow Makers is part of Museums at Night – watch this space for our guide to the diverse events on offer.
