Treehouse Hotel has announced more details of what guests can expect ahead of its official opening date this spring.

The new 224-room hotel, which is part of the SH Hotels & Resorts group, will open its doors on Wed 19 Mar. This marks Treehouse Hotels’ second UK property following the successful launch of Treehouse Hotel London in 2019.

Offering a ‘playful and free-spirited experience’, the hotel will include nine suites and three accessible rooms. Guests can expect ‘whimsical interiors, evoking the enchanting charm of a forest, blended with Treehouse’s signature perfectly imperfect design ethos.’

Alongside its accommodations, Treehouse Manchester will offer a variety of dining and drinking options celebrating some of the North West’s most celebrated culinary talents.

Pip by Mary-Ellen McTague is the hotel’s ground-floor restaurant, and places focus on low-waste cooking with seasonally sourced ingredients. Sister Moon by Sam Grainger will open later in 2025 and is described as a 14th-floor Southeast Asian dining destination offering an elevated culinary experience.

Also perched on the 14th floor, alongside Sister Moon, is The Nest in Treehouse which offers sweeping city views and a lively atmosphere, while hidden atop the hotel, The Hideout is an intimate rooftop lounge and terrace. Other facilities include a state-of-the-art ‘Playground’ gym, a 43-seat ‘Flix’ screening room and versatile meeting rooms.

An events programme celebrating the best of music, culture and art will also be helmed by familiar local names Luke Cowdrey and Justin Crawford.
