Formed by Merrill Garbus in 2006 and later joined by bassist Nate Brenner, Tune-Yards rapidly established an international reputation with explosive live shows and a daring, DIY sonic signature.
From their acclaimed debut BiRd-BrAiNs to the fully collaborative 2021 release sketchy., the pair have continually challenged the boundaries of conventional pop with their adventurous songcraft and an ambitious, kinetic sound imbued with searing social consciousness.
Now celebrating their sixth studio album, Tune-Yards deliver their smoothest, funkiest and most direct pop to date. Led by irresistible single Limelight, Better Dreaming issues a call to the conceptual dancefloor where groove and grit combine in triumphant harmony.
