Two Gallants at Gorilla

Californian folk rock duo Two Gallants pay a visit to Gorilla later this month. The multi-talented pair – vocalist, guitarist, keyboardist and harmonica player Adam Stephens and drummer, guitarist and vocalist Tyson Vogel – formed Two Gallants in San Francisco in 2002, although by that point they had been playing together for almost a decade. In 2005 Two Gallants signed with Saddle Creek – home of Bright Eyes, The Faint and The Thermals – and released two albums, What the Toll Tells (2006) and Two Gallants (2007), before taking a five-year hiatus and re-appearing in 2012 on ATO Records. Their fifth and latest album, We Are Undone, sees the pair ‘trying to make sense of this unending pressure to acquire and consume’. Listen to new song Incidental below.
