In the wake of the venue’s spectacular refurbishment, it hasn’t taken Band on the Wall long to resume their status as one of Manchester’s true cultural hubs.

Along with showcasing some of the world’s most exciting, innovative and diverse acts, the team have also renewed their commitment to ensuring anyone who wants to hone their own musical skills has the opportunity to do so.

Band on the Wall’s World of Music programme is an exciting new initiative open to all — regardless of musical experience, ability or background, there is a class to suit.

Opportunities range from young people experiencing live music for the first time right through to those wanting to take the next step in their musical journey. The latest batch of autumn programmes has just been announced, check out what to expect below…

World of Music Baby Club

Designed for ages 0-12 months, babies can enjoy moving to music, stimulated by vivid colours and textures.

Little Music Makers

Toddlers aged 1-4 are encouraged to explore the joy of music through interaction with a range of instruments, songs and dance.

World of Music Journeys

For ages 8-12 and 11+, Band on the Wall’s Saturday club offers a musical playground where young people can experience playing music with others, while also benefiting from expert tuition.

World of Music Youth Choir

12-17-year-olds are invited to sing pop and gospel songs, learn harmonies, get singing tips and most of all, have a good time.

Media Club (18+)

Gain hands-on experience filming and learn how to produce professional videos with artists at the venue.
