Taking its inspiration from Greek philosopher Epicurus’ quote ‘Only wolves and lions eat alone; you should not eat, not even snack, on your own’, Leo Kay and Unai Lopez de Armentia host a dining experience with a difference. The will explore themes of community, isolation and the meaning of the concept of crisis with only a handful of ‘guests’ (the audience) over the dinner table – with each participant bringing a raw ingredient to add to the pot. The play may well also be inspired by that other great Epicurus quote ‘I have never wished to cater to the crowd; for what I know they do not approve, and what they approve I do not know’. Unfinished Business promises a fascinating, evocative evening of performance, conversation and a meal this is filling up fast (Tuesday’s already sold out) – so make sure you don’t miss out.
