Verbose literature night relaunches at Fallow Cafe

After a short hiatus, Fallowfield’s live literature night Verbose is returning later this month with a new host and a new format. The acclaimed writer Sarah-Clare Conlon will compère this evening of poetry and prose at Fallow Café on Landcross Road. The special guests will include members of the Inklings writing group: master of flash fiction David Gaffney, award-winning novelist Elizabeth Baines, and author Sian Cummins, who is launching her new book. There will also be open mic spots for brave audience members to try out their material. Verbose will now be a regular event, taking place on the fourth Monday of every month. Special guests for February are already lined up, and include indie publishers Curious Tales Collective.
