Victoria Baths has unveiled its 2025 programme of free, family-friendly open days, inviting the public to explore the iconic Grade II* listed building.

Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy guided tours, relax in the beautiful tea room and peruse works by an array of local artists in the building’s shop.

Welcome Tuesdays will be taking place every week from Tue 8 Apr until Tue 30 Sep, as well as Sunny Sundays on Sun 1 Jun, Sun 6 Jul, Sun 3 Aug and Sun 7 Sep.

During all Open Days, Victoria Baths’ pool halls (unfilled) and Turkish Baths will be open to explore. The hugely popular Pool Picnic will also be returning during the summer holidays. Tickets will be released in the coming months for the family favourite event which was a complete sell-out last year.

Led by the landmark’s experts, the additional Discover Victoria Baths tour will bring the building to life, giving information on its social history, about the people who lived there, swam there and who even took part in the Olympics for Great Britain. These tours will be running each Welcome Tuesday and Sunny Sunday at 1pm. Tours are priced at £9, free for Friends of VB and under 18s.

Anthony Baker, CEO at Victoria Baths, says: “Our open days come with a warm welcome for everyone.  We love people wandering around our beautiful building in the heart of this vibrant community.  Come and enjoy the amazing architecture, learn about our social history, have a cream tea in the Pineapple Room and take a look in our gorgeous shop.”
