Away from the market madness in the city centre, MediaCityUK joins in the festive fun with the return of its traditional Christmas Victorian Market – its biggest yet. Proving extremely popular in 2012, organisers plan to outdo themselves again, with this year’s market featuring over 100 stalls packed with artisan food, gifts, winter warmers and more. And to make it even more of an experience, the market will go all out on authenticity with a Victorian bandstand hosting brass bands and choirs, a traditional carousel and, of course, Dickensian street performers wandering the markets alongside visitors. From Victorian ladies to street urchins and travelling salesman to policeman of the age, the Peelers, you can bet this will be a unique and atmospheric Christmas shopping experience.
